Decently habited, Easter edition

April 8, 2012

The Dean of Windsor greets HM the Queen and the Royal Family before Mattins in St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle. Note the lilies embroidered on the cope. Magnificent.

The Dean.

With members of the Royal Family.

In the upper photo, what I believe is the Dean’s KCVO appears at his neck, lying on top of the cope’s morse. It appears that there is something else hanging underneath the morse, but it’s obscured by the black object in his hands. Do you have any idea what that might be?

The hood on the cope is especially magnificent. Need to work on the bobby’s vesting, though.
